Biography
Author(s):
Prof. Serwan M J Baban is the Chief Scientific Advisor to the President of Kurdistan Region, Iraq. He served in a similar position at the Council of Ministers, Kurdistan Regional Government, Iraq. He was the Vice Chancellor of Cihan Group Universities preceding that he had the position of Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources and prior to that he was the Vice Chancellor, University of Kurdistan Hawler (UKH). Previous to these, he held posts of Professor, Head of School and Dean in Universities in the UK, the Caribbean, and Australia. He has published extensively and holds several Fellowships from international organizations.
Dr Tahseen Rafik is Dean Emeritus at the Global College of Engineering & Technology in Wales. A highly experienced academic leader, he has more than 20 years’ experience in executive leadership, senior management and quality assurance auditor roles in the UK and the Middle East.
