Description
This book explores two major areas that are fundamental to present and future society - Education and Technology – and what brings them together, what distances them, and what is the inevitable relationship that exists and persists in learning models. From case studies to more theoretical reflections, this book is a fundamental instrument to think about what education is or what it can be in the future due to rapid technological evolution, and specifically, with the integration of Artificial Intelligence.
Contributing authors address the tensions between education and technology; how applied technology can lead to better learning outcomes, greater student engagement, and more efficient teaching; while excessive or mis-applied use of technology creates problems.
The book will be a useful reference tool for teachers, researchers in the arts and humanities, school/university administrators, and ed-tech developers.
