Biography
Author(s): Ivan Uher, PhD, MPH, is an associate professor and researcher at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia. His work covers health psychology, behavioral science, and human performance, with a specific focus on lifestyle change, physical activity, and behavioral regulation. Dr. Uher is the originator of the Predictive–Interoceptive Processing (PIP) Model, the subject of this monograph. His research integrates complex theories from interoception, predictive processing, and allostasis to provide a novel, unified framework for understanding the biological and regulatory costs that underpin human health behavior and performance.
