Description

While the global digital revolution transforms economies worldwide, China has emerged as a central and formidable player. Algorithm to Ascent provides a definitive analysis of how digitalization is actively redefining China’s economic trajectory.

The book charts the landscape, from the technological drivers like AI and big data to the specific government policies and five-year plans shaping the nation's digital blueprint. Through in-depth analysis of core sectors—including e-commerce, smart cities, and digital healthcare—and compelling case studies of major corporations like Alibaba, Tencent, and Huawei, it reveals the mechanics of China’s digital transformation. The author further situates China within the global context, assessing its international influence, its role in initiatives like the Belt and Road, and the future challenges and opportunities the country faces.
