Description

This book provides a comprehensive examination of the evolving landscape of corporate business responsibility, in a world rife with moral hazard, and corruption, and other grand challenges. It delves into how businesses face mounting pressure to act ethically and sustainably in a highly globalized economy. Focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), sustainable corporate practices, and sustainable environmental management, the book presents key insights derived on the basis of big data analytics. Data analyses are focused on the global economy. There are many insights, which reveal how big data can inform decision-making processes, allowing companies to meet both financial and ethical goals.
The authors of the book explore the increasing relevance of sustainability to modern business, identifying the pivotal role big data plays in helping firms balance profit with broader social and environmental practices into their operations while mitigating the risks of greenwashing, corruption, regulatory breach, penalties, or reputational damage. It emphasizes the challenges corporations face in aligning their strategies with global standards for ethical conduct, climate action, circular economy and social equity.
