How did the human brain, a self-contained information processor, first learn to store knowledge externally? Biography
Author(s): Derek Hodgson has served as a Research Associate at the University of York and a Scientific Advisor for Inscribe, an organisation dedicated to the study of early symbolic behaviour. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on how the structural properties of the early visual brain provided the blueprint for humanity’s first externalised patterns, which ultimately evolved into complex information systems and writing.
