Description
Nowhere Fast looks at the structural and cultural decline of western democracies, particularly the UK. Britain is now one of the worst-performing liberal democracies in Europe, on several economic and social measures. It examines the emergence of a new ‘knowledge class’ and how inequality is an ideological construct. It also examines the emerging phenomena of a populist response to it.
It will be of interest to scholars and researchers in social studies, political philosophy, and economics.
