Description

The Cosmological Mind reconsiders the relationship between human understanding and the universe it seeks to interpret. Drawing inspiration from Kant, the book argues that cosmology cannot be understood merely as an empirical science: it is also a hermeneutic activity, shaped by the evolving structures of mind, meaning, and interpretation. From medieval conceptions of the infinite to quantum horizons, multiverse theories, and the epistemic significance of the observer, the work traces a continuous dialogue between the limits of reason and the expanding cosmos.

The book shows how scientific theories embody historically shifting forms of understanding. Concepts such as infinity, space-time, singularities, dark matter, and cosmic horizons reveal not only new aspects of the universe but also new architectures of thought. What emerges is a cosmology in which interpretation, cognition, and physical reality are inseparably linked.
The Cosmological Mind is written for scholars in philosophy, cosmology, history of ideas, and the foundations of physics.
