Biography

Author(s):  Professor Gianni Angelini is one of the world's most eminent cardiac surgeons. He was appointed to the prestigious British Heart Foundation Chair of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Bristol in 1992, a position he held with distinction for decades. His pioneering research and innovative surgical techniques have had a profound impact on advancing cardiac surgery and patient care globally. In recognition of his team's excellence, they were named the UK ‘Surgical Team of the Year’ in 2005.
